Alessandra Bosco is a singer and songwriter, who uses her voice as a bridge between the visible and the invisible, creating evocative soundscapes that borrow elements from several ancient sacred traditions, creating a timeless imagery and mesmerising atmospheres.
She attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston, thanks to a scholarship won during the Umbria Jazz Festival in Perugia.
She performs in Europe and the United States, sharing the stage with some of the biggest names in jazz such as Joey Blake, Mike Stern, Stefano Bollani, among others.
She plays in numerous contexts and locations, such as Umbria Jazz Festival, San Marino Jazz Festival, Smeraldo Theater, Monte Graal Academy, Milan Cathedral, Berklee College of Music and Palmanova, Italy, where she wins the Critique Prize for the national radio (Radio RAI 1) music contest Canevel Music Lab.
Her voice was sampled by Yamaha for the "Sounds of Italy" library.
Inspired by the sacred songs of Eastern and Western traditions, she creates the performance I canti dell'estasi, a solo voice concert in 7 languages, with which she makes her debut at the Hermitage of Monte Giove. In the same year she was among the artists on the bill for the musical review of the Mostra Internazionale del Nuovo Cinema in Pesaro and has been invited as performance artist to celebrate Gioachino Rossini's birthday in Pesaro, his hometown and UNESCO nominated City of Music and nominated Italian Capital of Culture for the year 2024.
In 2021 her first two EPs are released, The Virgo Series and Aleph, both for LineaDue Edizioni. In 2022 she was selected among the Italian artists for the Italian Music Experience at SXSW in Austin where she participated in the Italian Music Experience virtual stand organized by ICE Los Angeles, SIAE, FIMI, Italian Music Export).
